Frequently Asked Questions

Expert advice on ordering, planting, and caring for your David Austin roses.

When will my bare root roses be delivered?

Bare root roses are seasonal and are typically shipped during the dormant season, from late autumn through early spring, depending on your local hardiness zone.

Do you offer a guarantee on your roses?

Yes, we offer a 5-year guarantee on all our roses. If your rose fails to grow or dies within five years of purchase, we will provide a replacement free of charge.

What is the difference between bare root and potted roses?

Bare root roses are dormant plants shipped without soil, available in winter. Potted roses are grown in soil and can be planted year-round as long as the ground is not frozen.

Can I track my order once it has shipped?

Once your order leaves our nursery, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking link to monitor your delivery status in real-time.

What should I do if my rose arrives damaged?

Please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund immediately.

Are David Austin roses suitable for container growing?

Many of our varieties are specifically bred for container growth. We recommend using a pot at least 18 inches deep and high-quality potting compost for the best results.
